Monitor Stands

MOD-1247 Workstation/Kiosk for Trade Shows and Events -- Image 1 Monitor Stands have become indispensable to trade shows, events, retail environments, and meetings. You'll find over 25 choices in the Workstation and Kiosk gallery in a range of prices, sizes, and features, many with locking storage. Most are modular, meaning they disassemble for shipping, but there are quite a few custom monitor stands that ship fully assembled. Don't see exactly what you want? No problem. We specialize in designing and building workstations and kiosks that meet any need.

When choosing the right workstation or monitor stand for your display, consider how you will use it on the show floor. Do you need locking storage? Will the workstation or monitor stand hold a lead retrieval machine, monitor, or other electrical device? If so, you will need wire management. That may be as simple as ordering a grommet for the counter or arranging for cord covers. If you are planning to use a tablet computer, consider the tablet insert option for the counter top. This option is practical, attractive, and secure for many tablets, such as an iPad.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do you handle wire management for workstations and kiosks?

It depends on the workstation or kiosk, how they are used, and your preferences. There are multiple solutions, and we will work with you to find the one that makes the most sense for your situation.

Most importantly, have it done while it's being built. All too often, exhibitors wait until the first show to puzzle through the wire management. Not only does it rarely lead to an ideal solution,  but it is also considerably more expensive to have it done on the show floor.

Let us know which workstation, kiosk, or monitor stand you're interested in and how it will be used. Together we can find the best solution.

  2. Why aren't the shipping cases included in the price?

The simple fact is that most workstations, stands, and kiosks ship with exhibits. As a result, they may fit in the same case, crate, or tub as the display, but, we never know until you select your display. If we included the case, then it wouldn't reflect realistic prices in most situations.

We do list the ship case options, so you know whether it will fit in a portable case(s) or if it requires a crate.

Give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions. We want you to understand all your options.

  3. How large a monitor can a workstation or monitor stand hold?

It depends on the workstation or the configuration. There are workstations that hold 42 in. and larger monitors and others where the largest size is 22 in. In almost all cases, our workstations can accommodate multiple sizes within a range, say 19 in. to 26 in. for example. Even as monitors have gotten larger, the weight has dropped considerably. The size is more a function of practical application and visual appeal than weigh anymore.

We have designed nearly 100 workstation, kiosks, and towers for  most trade show and event situations.

Give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions.

  4. What is a VESA Monitor Mount? And why isn't the monitor mount included in the price?

VESA is a family of standards defined by the Video Electronics Standards Association for mounting flat panel monitors, TVs, and other displays to stands or wall mounts. It is implemented on most modern flat-panel monitors and TVs. Most manufacturers follow these standards, but several manufacturers do not comply with VESA standards on some of their flat panel monitors. And it’s not always consistent.

For the above reason and because monitor mount styles and sizes vary, we quote monitor mounts per job and situation.

Give us a call and let us know your requirements.
